Hasbrouck Heights crash hospitalized two

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ – Two people were taken to the hospital after pileup crash on Route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights on Friday afternoon.

According to Daily Voice, five vehicles, including one tractor-trailer, were involved in a chain-reaction crash on Route 17 near Franklin Avenue in the early afternoon.

Two of the involved drivers had to be extricated from their vehicles by firefighters. The 32-year-old from Clifton and the 57-year-old from North Arlington both were taken to Hackensack University Medical Center.

Local authorities are still investigating the crash.
