HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ (BERGEN COUNTY) – Two people were seriously injured after being ejected during a crash in Hasbrouck Heights last night which also led to the injury of two others.
According to the Hackensack Daily Voice, the accident happened on Rt. 17 near Franklin Ave at about 9:30 p.m. when a sedan and a minivan collided.
Two people were ejected during the crash and were taken to the hospital in Hackensack with serious, life-threatening wounds. Another two people were also taken in for the treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Authorities closed the roadway for about five hours, opening it back up for traffic at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
