GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ – A fiery crash in South Jersey took the life of two people when their vehicle struck a utility pole on Friday night.
According to NJ.com, the 21-year-old driver of a 2016 Hyundai Genesis was westbound on Route 538 in South Harrison Township. The vehicle left the roadway at about 10:30 p.m. and crashed into a utility pole and trees. The vehicle then went up in flames.
The driver and passenger both died at the scene. They were identified as Byron Wells II and Drew Roadarmel, 23, both from Gainesville, Virginia.
The accident is still under investigation.
