FORT LEE, NJ – A female who was involved in a three-vehicle accident was then struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Wednesday, according to reports.
Jada Smith, 21, was driving an SUV on I-95 when she collided with two other vehicles. Her SUV became disabled on the right lane as a result.
Smith then stepped out of her SUV and was struck by a tractor-trailer who fled the scene. She was pronounced dead at approximately 10:25 p.m., according to New Jersey State Police.
There were no other reported injuries and police are searching for the driver of the tractor-trailer.
