Fatal Crash on Route 72 in Barnegat Killed Two

BARNEGAT, NJ- A two vehicle collision involving a tow truck occurred Thursday night on Route 72, according to local media sources.

At approximately 10:03am, a Kia Soul collided with a tow truck carrying a vehicle in the area of Route 72 and Route 532. The Kia went off road and swerved before crashing into the tow truck. Both occupants of the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene of the incident. The tow truck driver was uninjured.
