ENGLEWOOD, NJ – A man trimming a tree was killed after it fell on top of him in Englewood this morning, according to the Daily Voice.
The accident occurred on Curry Avenue at about 11 a.m., when a tree fell on top of a homeowner who had been cutting it. The fallen tree pinned down his legs, causing him to be trapped.
Authorities used airbags to help extricate the victim, who was then taken to the hospital, where he later died. His injuries included severe leg damage and wounds to the chest.
His identity was not immediately released.
