Elderly pedestrian struck, injured by car in Glen Rock

GLEN ROCK, NJ – The Daily Voice reports that a 92-year-old pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle while crossing the road in Glen Rock on Sunday.

Authorities say the accident took place shortly after 6:00 p.m. on the 800 block of Prospect Street. An unidentified 92-year-old woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a 36-year-old driver of a 2010 Honda.

The pedestrian sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to University Medical Center for treatment. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
