BERGEN, NJ- An elderly man died on Friday evening after drowning in a backyard pool in Bergen, according to Daily Voice.
At approximately 5:00pm, the man was pulled out of the pool by officials after a 911 caller reported the incident on East Palisade Avenue. Officials attempted CPR, but the victim was pronounced dead at Englewood Hospital shortly after.
The identity of the victim has not been released at this time. We will be monitoring for updates.
