GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ – An elderly man lost his life after crashing his car through a fence in Monroe Township on Saturday afternoon, according to NJ.com.
The 76-year-old victim was driving westbound on Corkery Lane in his 2016 Toyota Camry near Ames Road and Sykesville Road at about 3:30 p.m. He crossed through eastbound oncoming traffic and off the roadway. He struck a fence at a Student Transportation of America bus facility about 200 feet from the road.
The victim was identified as Henry J. Berenato of Hammonton. He died at the scene of the accident.
Authorities are continuing an investigation.
