ENGLEWOOD, NJ – An elderly woman was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Englewood early on Thursday morning.
According to Daily Voice, the 70-year-old woman was at the intersection of Broad Avenue and Van Nostrand Avenue at about 6:30 a.m.
The victim suffered injuries to her back and leg and also cut her head but remained conscious. She was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center.
The driver, a 33-year-old Paterson resident, received a summons for not yielding to the pedestrian.
