HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ – An elderly driver injured a bicyclist with her vehicle door in Hasbrouck Heights on Sunday morning, according to Daily Voice.
The 50-year-old bicyclist was riding near Walter Avenue and Boulevard just before noon when the 78-year-old driver suddenly opened the door of her 2012 Toyota Rav4. The bicyclist struck the unexpectedly opened door and went flying into the road.
He had a large gash on his head and was transported to the Hackensack University Medical Center.
