OLD BRIDGE, NJ – A motorcycle accident that happened last week in Old Bridge has been determined as a drunk driving incident.
Patch.com reports that the accident killed one person, Jessica Vinsko, 36, who was a passenger on the bike.
The driver, Jack Piatek, 27, lost control of the Harley Davidson just minutes before midnight on Thursday, July 16 on Route 35 near Industrial Drive.
Both the Piatek and Vinsko were ejected from the vehicle. Vinsko died at the scene.
Piatek was treated for injuries at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
He is now being held at Middlesex County Jail after being arrested and charged with vehicular homicide caused by driving while intoxicated.
