According to Daily Voice, the drunk driver was traveling toward Glen Rock on Maple Avenue when the accident happened at about 9 a.m. The driver passed several other vehicles in his Toyota Prius before hitting a Chevrolet Malibu head-on.
The driver of the Malibu, a woman, was transported to the hospital. She is expected to make a recovery.
Authorities arrested the driver of the Prius for drunk driving.
Maple Avenue was closed at Elm Street for about 45 minutes.
