ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – A woman struck a parked car before pinning a pedestrian under her vehicle near the Aquarium in Atlantic City, according to a news report.
The accident happened on Sunday at about 10:52 p.m. in the 800 block of New Hampshire Avenue. The driver of a Honda Accord, a 34-year-old Ashley Barksdale, had pinned another woman when police arrived on the scene.
A large crowd was gathered around the accident by the time authorities arrived. They freed the woman from under the car in a few minutes. She was transported to the Atlanticare Regional Medical Center, City Division.
Barksdale has been charged with driving while intoxicated.
