LINDEN, NJ – Drivers were instructed to expect delays on US 1&9 in Linden even after an earlier incident had been cleared on Wednesday afternoon.
According to 511 New Jersey, all lanes were open on the southbound freeway where a crash happened earlier near Stiles Street. Despite the lanes being reopened, traffic was slowed in both directions.
Delays in the southbound direction reached 10 minutes at about 2:30 p.m. It was not long, however, until all traffic could flow smoothly again.
