PATERSON, NJ- According to Daily Voice, a fleeing driver crashed into two other vehicles and tossed a gun out of the car during a car chase on Sunday in Paterson, resulting in injuries.
At approximately 2:00am, a driver involved in a car chase hit two other vehicles on 10th Avenue and East 24th Street, trying to flee from the New Jersey State Police. One of the drivers in another vehicle was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, whereas the other vehicle involved was parked.
During his escape, the fleeing driver tossed a bag with a 9mm Ruger gun in it onto the northbound side of Route 20. It was later recovered by officers.
The fleeing driver was taken into custody and is awaiting trial, according to officials. No more information is available about the injuries at this time.
