HUDSON COUNTY, NJ – Two people were injured when a driver got her vehicle wedged in the air between two tollbooths on the NJ Turnpike in Jersey City on Monday.
According to NJ.com, a 26-year-old Bayonne woman and her 23-year-old passenger crashed at the tollbooth center at the Newark Bay Extension of the New Jersey Turnpike at about 4:30 a.m.
The driver managed to get her black Infiniti G35 wedged crossways between two tollbooths in the air at about a 45-degree angle. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
Both the driver and passenger were transported to a local hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.
