PASSAIC, NJ – An 18-year-old driver was killed after being ejected in a crash on Route 21 in Passiac on Friday night, according to Daily Voice.
The Paterson man, Jasdanny Villalta, was driving a 2011 Honda Accord on Route 21 when he crashed with a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado in the northbound lanes near Exit 11. The crash happened at about 10:30 p.m. and ejected Villatla and the Accord’s passenger.
Villatla was pronounced dead at the scene. The 19-year-old passenger, who was not identified, was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. The 49-year-old Silverado driver was uninjured. The man remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
An investigation at the scene closed the lanes for hours last week, beginning at the time of the accident and into Friday morning.
