PASSAIC, NJ – A driver was injured when a tree fell onto his vehicle during the high winds that the Passaic area experience on Monday morning.
According to Daily Voice, the incident happened near the corner of Passaic Avenue and Boulevard at about 10 a.m. on Monday when the high winds that morning blew a large tree onto the vehicle.
Firefighters extricated the 66-year-old victim and he was taken to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. There is not yet an update on his condition available.
A large effort that necessitated chain saws and a wood chipper closed Passiac Avenue from Boulevard to Lafayette Avenue.
