OCEAN COUNTY, NJ – A driver was injured when they crashed their sedan into a chain-link fence along a Lakewood road on Wednesday afternoon.
According to a local news report, the driver lost control of their vehicle on New Hampshire Avenue near Woodlake Manor Drive at about 5 p.m. The vehicle slammed into and got stuck in the chain-link fence. The passenger side of the car was raised off the ground.
Firefighters used supports to stabilize the tipped car and cut off a door to extricate the trapped driver.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
