MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ – An early morning crash on the Garden State Parkway killed a motorist Friday.
According to Daily Voice, the single-vehicle accident was reported in Tinton Falls at about 4:11 a.m. The unidentified driver of a Buick Roadmaster ran off the roadway from the Garden State Parkway express lanes near milepost 106.
The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was transported to the Jersey Shore Medical Center. He was pronounced dead at Neptune City hospital shortly thereafter.
The circumstances surrounding the single-vehicle crash are still under investigation.
