CAPE MAY COUNTY, NJ — A 44-year-old Millville man died last Thursday afternoon after a two-vehicle wreck on U.S. Route 9 in Middle Township, according to NJ.com.
The fatal accident happened near Eagle Way Court, in the Swainton area, on August 25, at about 4:15 p.m.
According to police, the man was behind the wheel of a Honda Accord heading northbound on the highway when he veered past the center line. Moments later, he sideswiped an oncoming Nissan Versa in the southbound lane. The Honda went on to strike a southbound Ford F-150 pickup truck traveling behind the Nissan.
The Millville man died as a result of his injuries, confirms authorities.
It was unclear whether anyone else was injured.
