NORWOOD, NJ – A driver has been charged with aggravated assault after intentionally crashing with another vehicle in Norwood on Tuesday.
Daily Voice reported that Solomon Kim was apparently attempting suicide when he drove his Jaguar into an Infiniti SUV on Livingston Street on Tuesday afternoon. The high-speed crash pushed the SUV into the wooded area off the road and spread debris around the scene.
The couple inside the SUV, both 46, were injured in the accident and taken to a local hospital where the woman underwent surgery.
21-year-old Kim was extricated by authorities from his vehicle. He had sustained injuries to his back and legs. He was also taken to a hospital.
The Norwood man is facing two charges of aggravated assault.
