HOBOKEN, NJ – Driver arrested for DWI after a hit-and-run accident in Hoboken on Thursday evening, according to Daily Voice.
The accident was reported near the intersection of 3rd Street and Willow Avenue at about 9:55 p.m. When police arrived at the scene, they spotted a heavily damaged gold minivan fleeing without headlights.
One of the responding officers U-turned to follow the escaping vehicle and was able to pull the vehicle over. 46-year-old Timothy Bracero was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
The passenger in the vehicle was also arrested for a separate incident, involving pepper spray, that had happened earlier in the week.
