WEST DEPTFORD TWP, NJ – A driver from Williamstown died on Sunday when his vehicle struck a guardrail and overturned on I-295 in Gloucester County, the Daily Voice reports.
The incident happened at 10:45 a.m. on January 31, when Joseph Patterson, Jr. lost control of his southbound 2015 Honda Civic near milepost 19.8 in West Deptford Township. The Honda ran off the right side of I-295, then cut back across the roadway, struck the centerline guardrail, and flipped over.
Patterson died in the crash. No one else was involved.
Investigations are ongoing.
