JERSEY CITY, NJ – A downed utility police on US 1&9 Truck Route had all lanes closed in both directions on Tuesday, according to 511 New Jersey.
The incident was initially reported a few minutes after 5 a.m. in the area of Broadway in Jersey City.
All lanes in both directions were closed in the morning on Tuesday. At about 10 a.m., emergency crews were able to open all lanes except the northbound right lane. Drivers were advised of 5-10 minute delays.
There is no word as of yet on whether any vehicles were involved in the downed pole.
