CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NJ – A teenaged dirt bike rider died after an accident with a car in Deerfield Township last week, according to Nj.com.
A 17-year-old Bridgeton boy was on an X-Moto bike when he collided with a Kia Optima at the intersection of Morton Avenue and Landis Avenue at about 9:30 a.m.
The teenager was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. He died the next day, on Christmas Eve, from his injuries.
The driver of the Kia, a 30-year-old local woman, did not sustain injuries.
The accident is under investigation and there is no word on whether charges are pending.
