HOBOKEN, NJ – A delivery courier riding an electric bicycle was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Hoboken yesterday afternoon, according to the Daily Voice.
The crash happened near the intersection of Jackson Street and Observer Highway at about 3:15 p.m., when the driver of what may have been a blue Acura with a partial plate number of 20070 collided with the bicyclist. The driver fled the scene southbound, leaving Hoboken.
The victim, a 65-year-old man from New York, was taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
