BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A mini school bus was transporting two teenagers when it collided with an SUV late Wednesday morning in Ridgewood, according to Daily Voice.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Northern Parkway and East Glen Avenue at about 11:40 a.m. Ridgewood Police and Fire Department crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Authorities said the school bus had departed from Midland Park and was heading toward Paramus when it collided with a BMW SUV. Photos taken at the scene indicate the crash caused the bus to jump the sidewalk at the corner.

All three of the bus’ occupants, the driver and two teenage boys, were not reported hurt. The driver of the BMW was also not injured.

It was unclear what caused the wreck or which driver was at fault.

Tow crews were called to the area to remove both the mini-bus and the SUV, which appeared to have sustained substantial front-end damage.

No charges have been reported at this time.
