MONROE, NJ – A collision on Route 322 in Monroe this afternoon resulted in lane closures, traffic delays, and a damaged utility pole, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

The accident happened on eastbound Route 322, east of Route 42, before 4 p.m.
While it is unclear what led to the crash, NJDOT stated that a utility pole had been downed as a result.
Authorities closed one of the lanes of the roadway as they worked the crash.
There is no word yet on possible injuries.
