EDISON, NJ- A crash in the northbound lanes of Route 1 in Edison has caused major delays on Friday evening, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
At approximately 5:24 pm, a crash was reported by officials that caused all lanes on Route 1 to be blocked near North Old Post Road.
Information on injuries is pending. Officials suggested avoiding the area and expecting delays after the accident.
