ELIZABETH, NJ – Shore News Network reports that a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck left three people injured in Elizabeth on Tuesday night.
Linden Police say the crash took place around 7:30 p.m., near the intersection of E St. Georges Avenue & Washington Avenue. The collision occurred when a driver in a 2018 Dodge Ram pickup truck was turning left onto Washington Avenue and struck a motorcyclist riding a 2009 Honda CBR motorcycle travelling north on E St. Georges Avenue.
The 26-year-old motorcyclist and a 22-year-old passenger on the motorcycle both sustained injuries in the impact, and were taken to Newark University Hospital for treatment. The 56-year-old driver of the pickup truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries for which he did not seek treatment.
Police continue to investigate this incident.
