MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ – An investigation following a crash that left a downed utility pole closed all lanes of State Route 27 on Monday.

According to 511 New Jersey, the investigation following the cleanup was reported at about 9:30 following the earlier incident.

All lanes were closed in the area of North Evergreen Road in Edison Township.

Traffic was detoured around the area.

The roadway was reopened in the afternoon.

Details about the crash have not been released.
