GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ – A car accident on the Walt Whitman Bridge in Gloucester City backed up traffic on Wednesday morning.
According to 511 New Jersey, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of the bridge on the New Jersey side at about 7:50 a.m.
One right lane was closed and traffic began to pile up behind the crash scene. The lane was blocked for about an hour.
