MIDLAND PARK, NJ – A construction worker was injured by a piece of equipment in an accident on Wednesday, according to the Daily Voice.
The accident happened a few minutes before 4:30 p.m. in the back of the Midland Park Shopping Center, located on Godwin Avenue. The worker was injured by a backhoe.
The Midland Park Ambulance Corps, along with the Midland Park Police and Wyckoff Police, responded to the accident. The worker was transported to the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.
The worker was an employee of Kensco Construction and Equipment Company out of Newark.
The extent of the injury had not been clarified.
OSHA was notified following the accident.
