BERGEN COUNTY, NJ – A commuter train accident in Hackensack killed a young pedestrian on Monday afternoon, according to Daily Voice.
A Pascack Valley Line train struck the victim not far from the Essex Street Station just after 3:30 p.m. The train was out of Hoboken and bound for New Bridge Landing. No one onboard the train was injured.
Service was suspected for about an hour while the scene was cleared.
The victim was a 20-something man. His identity has not been released.
