ESSEX COUNTY, NJ – The victim of a carjacking was struck by the thieves when they fled the scene of the Newark incident last Thursday afternoon.
According to RLS Media, a driver’s vehicle was carjacked at the intersection of South 10th Street and 13th Avenue at about 3: 35 p.m. As the suspects fled the scene, they struck the driver with the Mercedes Benz.
When police arrived, the victim was able to tell police what happened and give the vehicle’s information. The victim’s injuries were not considered life-threatening.
At this time, the suspects are still at large.
