Car catches fire after crashing into Franklin Township house

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – Firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire after the sedan crashed into a house in Franklin Township on Sunday morning.

A local news source reported that a white Chevrolet Cruze was traveling south before left it the roadway and crashed into a tree and a home in the 300 block of Asbury Broadway Road at about 9 a.m. The vehicle caught fire after crashing into the home.

Firefighters knocked back the flames when they arrived.

The driver received treatment at the scene.

The cause of the accident is still unclear.
