WARREN COUNTY, NJ – A car slammed into the side of a house after running over a fire hydrant in Phillipsburg on Monday morning, according to Nj.com.
A silver sedan jumped the curb in the 400 block of Roseberry Street near Fischer Avenue and slammed into the side of Phillipsburg Housing Authority property at about 8 a.m. The vehicle crashed into a door and damaged the exterior wall.
No one was injured in the accident. There was one person in the house at the time of the crash who was brought out through a window.
It is unclear exactly how and why the accident happened. However, drivers commonly lose control on a set of railroad tracks that nearby the scene.
