CAMDEN, NJ – A man was struck by a train and killed in an accident that happened early Friday, according to NJ.com.
The man was found on the tracks at the Collingswood Port Authority Transit Corporation Speedline station a few minutes before 8 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released his identity as of yet.
Speedlines trains were halted in all Port Authority Transit Corporation stations for more than an hour.
The accident is being investigated by local police and the prosecutor’s office, as well as detectives from the Delaware River Port Authority Police Department.
