WOODLYNNE, NJ- A marked police vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian in Woodlynne on Wednesday night, according to NJ.com.
At approximately 10:55pm, a Camden County Police patrol vehicle struck a pedestrian attempting to cross Mount Ephraim and Woodlynne Avenues. The officer was on-duty and patrolling the area, rather than responding to a call. After the accident the officer stopped at the scene and called for assistance. However, the woman was declared dead at the scene at approximately 11:10pm.
