TENAFLY, NJ- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a NJ Transit bus in Tenafly on Sunday afternoon, according to Daily Voice.
At approximately 3:54pm, a 72-year-old pedestrian was struck by a NJ Transit bus on Highwood Avenue, near Hillside Avenue. The Number 166 bus was turning right when it struck and ran over the victim. The victim was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead shortly after.
No other injuries were reported among the passengers or the 70-year-old bus driver.
