Bicyclist seriously injured in hit-and-run crash in Tenafly

TENAFLY, NJ – A hit-and-run driver struck and seriously injured a bicyclist before colliding with another vehicle in Tenafly on Friday night, according to the Daily Voice.

The crash happened on Tenafly Road and Leonard Avenue at about 7:30 p.m., when a 33-year-old bicyclist from Englewood was hit from behind by the driver of a Toyota Tundra. The driver then collided with a second vehicle on the curb before fleeing the scene.

The bicyclist was taken to the hospital in Hackensack with severe injuries.

The other victim, a 21-year-old from Englewood, refused treatment at the scene.

The suspect vehicle sustained severe damage to the front and passenger sides.
