Bicyclist injured after struck and run over by vehicle in Newark

NEWARK, NJ- A pickup truck struck and run over a bicyclist in Newark on Thursday afternoon, according to local media sources.

Two teenage bicyclists were crossing the intersection of Springfield Avenue and Pierce Street when they rode in front of a pickup truck. One of the bicyclists was struck and pinned underneath the vehicle. However, the teen only suffered minor injuries.
