PASSAIC, NJ – A bicyclist was critically injured after being struck by a driver at an intersection in Passaic last night, according to sources at RLS Media.
The accident occurred at Monroe and Market Street at about 7 p.m., when a male bicyclist was struck by the driver of a dark-colored Honda sedan.
The victim was unconscious when authorities arrived at the scene. He was taken to the hospital for the treatment of critical, life-threatening wounds.
Photos from the scene showed the vehicle with damage to the driver’s-side window.
The driver was not reported as hurt.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
