JERSEY CITY, NJ – A bicyclist was seriously injured after losing control and crashing into a salt spreader truck in Jersey City on Sunday night.
According to RLS Media, the rider of an E-Bike crashed into the back of a salt spreader truck near the corner of Summit Avenue and Jefferson Avenue at about 10:30 p.m.
The bicyclist suffered injuries to his face and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries were not life-threatening but still considered serious.
Salt spreader truck driver was uninjured.
It is unclear why the bicyclist lost control.
