KEARNY, NJ – A bicyclist delivery person for Grubhub was killed last Friday after apparently getting lost in Kearny, according to NJ.com.
32-year-old Nour Boules man was turning onto Route 7 from Fish House Road at about 8:25 p.m. when a 66-year-old man struck the victim’s battery-powered bicycle.
Boules was attempting to return to Jersey City after making a delivery. Authorities suspect he became lost after his GPS system did not successfully navigate the bicyclist around construction on Wittpenn Bridge.
The driver was on his way home from work at the time of the crash and is not facing charges.
