RUTHERFORD, NJ – Sources report Mark Musella, a Bergen County Prosecutor, has announced that an investigation is being conducted after a motor vehicle crashed on Sunday, May 17.
The crash occurred on Route 3 West at approximately 10:43 p.m.
A 2016 Nissan Rogue occupied by five people suffered severe front-end damage. Four of the five occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation has revealed that a front loader construction vehicle operated by a 39-year-old man was entering Route 17 when struck by the Nissan Rogue.
The deceased have been identified as driver Michelle Toledo (38 year-old of Paterson, NJ), and passengers Irvina Gee (20 year-old of Paterson, NJ), Sheckylle Chain (23 year-old of Paterson, NJ), Ayana Navas (16 year-old of Paterson, NJ) and Noah Alexander Dejesus (4 year-old of Allentown, PA).
The investigation is ongoing.
