LOPATCONG TWP., NJ – At least one person was hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash on Route 22 in Lopatcong Township on Tuesday morning, Lehigh Valley Live reports.
The incident happened at Route 22 and 6th Street, near the cutoff to Route 57, at about 7:20 a.m. on May 4. At least three vehicles were involved in what appears to have been a head-on collision, including a red Chevrolet hatchback that suffered extensive front-end damage and a black Toyota sedan with less severe damage. A second black car of unknown make and model was also involved.
Ambulances were called, and at least one individual was transported to an area hospital.
The accident backed up eastbound traffic to Roseberry Street, about half a mile away.
