SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ – A car accident resulted in a fuel spill on Interstate 78 in Springfield Township on Tuesday afternoon, according to 511 New Jersey.
The accident was in the westbound lanes near Exit 48 for New Jersey 24, and occurred at about 7:45 a.m. Details about the crash have not been released. There is no word as of yet about any injuries.
The right lane was closed following the incident and continued to be closed into the early afternoon. Drivers were asked to use caution and expect delays of five to ten minutes.
